Anyone who's ever been to Paris knows that it
has a unique pulse, a feeling that even time is somehow compressed
amidst the vibrant surroundings, allowing you to walk in slow-motion
through a rush of phantasmagoric scenes. It's a feeling that Maxime
Gaudet truly captures in his video, "Paris in Three Minutes," through
the deft use of hyperlapse and real-time footage.
Set
to a dreamlike piano track by Note Forget called "Acceptance," the
short film embodies the sensation of running through the pristine steps
of Paris on a cool, beautiful, melancholy morning. (Basically, it's the
next best thing to booking a ticket.)
